Carbon dioxide laser is a kind of laser with high continuous output power, which has been developed earlier and the commercial products are more mature, and has been widely applied to various fields such as material processing,laserpecker compact laser engraver medical use, military weapons, environmental measurement and so on.

Therefore, it has many applications in the national economy and national defense, such as applications in processing (welding, cutting, punching, etc.), communications, radar, chemical analysis, laser-induced chemical reactions, surgery and so on.
