Empty container import and export operation

There are two ways for empty containers to enter the terminal, one is through the empty container unloading ship, the other is through the inspection port into the terminal. There are mainly the following two kinds of empty containers coming in by analyzing the inspection port, one is the empty containers which can be designated by the shipping company for loading the export goods of the enterprise, and the other is the empty containers which are returned to a terminal after unloading the imported heavy containers. If the empty containers are not designated by the shipping company, they will be classified and stacked according to the stacking plan made by the material yard management planner and different sizes and types of containers, and according to the name of the Chinese export ship and voyage information. If the empty containers are returned to the terminal yard after the imported containers are unpacked, they will be stacked separately according to the stacking plan made by the yard production planner and the data of different students of the box holders. When the empty containers enter the system check port, the handover procedures must be needed between the terminal security check port and the carrier.

There are two main ways to export empty containers from the terminal, one is through the export of empty containers by ship, and the other is through the inspection of the export.

There are three main types of empty containers that are exported through the gate:

1. Empty container door-to-door delivery is mainly the delivery of empty containers of export cargo. After these empty containers are transported to the container point for packing, the heavy containers will be transported back to this terminal for shipment and export. When the empty container door leaves the port area, the cargo owner or inland carrier should submit a written application to the container agent. Container agent will issue "Departure Equipment Exchange Receipt" and "Entry Equipment Exchange Receipt" to cargo owner or inland carrier according to "Export Container Pre-allocation List". The shipowner or inland carrier will pick up the empty containers from the terminal yard with the equipment exchange receipt. 2.

2. Single pickup of empty containers means that the empty containers will be picked up and shipped to the container transportation yard (CY) outside of other terminals. For example, when the shipping company develops the need to pick up empty containers to the yard outside the port or to return the leased boxes, the terminal box administrator management should be based on the shipping company or its agent to provide "empty container pickup and transportation contact sheet" to send boxes. The contact sheet should generally state the holder of the box, the carrier logistics fleet, the flow direction and the yard, etc., and indicate the relevant costs of the settlement method.

3. For reasons of inspection, repair, cleaning, fumigation, transfer, etc., please transfer the empty containers to the terminal. Freight forwarder or mainland carrier shall, in accordance with the main relationship or relevant agreements, submit a written application to the container agent,cross dock the container agent to the cargo side or the mainland carrier to issue "shipping container equipment transfer order" and "inbound container equipment transfer order ". Cargo or inland carriers should be in accordance with the "arrival container equipment transfer list" from the terminal site to withdraw empty containers, the terminal should be in accordance with the agent's work contact list to send empty containers. When the empty containers leave the port, the terminal shall handle the container equipment handover list and handover procedures to the vessel or carrier.
