However, we just use the water dispenser all the time instead of cleaning it. After a long time, a large number of bacteria will grow on the surface. In this way, we use the water dispenser to collect the water, and the water flowing out is very unsanitary. So we need to clean the water dispenser regularly.

Sometimes when we use the water dispenser to connect the water, there will be a "strange smell" in the water, which may be caused by the water dispenser has not been cleaned for a long time. Generally, the water dispenser needs to be thoroughly cleaned once every two months. Here is a convenient and economical cleaning method.

Cleaning steps:

1. Cut off the power supply, open the drain outlet at the back of the water dispenser, and turn on the hot and cold water switch to drain the water after the residual water is discharged

2. Remove the base of the mineral water bucket in the water dispenser, and carefully scrub the inner and outer sides of the water dispenser tank and the cover with alcohol cotton

3. According to the instructions of decontamination effervescent tablets or disinfectants, prepare disinfectant water (or use salt water instead), pour it into the water dispenser, make the disinfectant water full of the body, and let it stand for 10-15 minutes.

4. Turn on all the switches of the water dispenser, including the drain pipe and water switch, and drain the disinfectant.

5. Use clear water to wash the whole body cavity of the water dispenser, turn on all switches to drain the flushing liquid.

6. Connect a glass of water with a water dispenser, and smell if there is chlorine. If so, continue to drain until no smell can be heard. The water dispenser is safe to use.
