Working in a small hospital, especiallyhere where we're pretty rural, it keeps you really well-rounded with a lot of your medicalskills. You wear many hats and I think that just makes you grow as a person. I'm AmberTincher, a family medicine physician at Fort Yates Hospital in North Dakota. What I loveabout this community too is you do get a lotof continuity and you do get to see the samepeople over and over. It is rewarding and fun to treat an entire family. At the hospitalhere we have a leadership team and we all work really well together actually. They dofeel like family and I mean I need them just as much as they need me.

I'm always you know very proud of this community.It is starting to feel more and more like home. >>We not only have great, wide, openspaces here in the Great Plains Area, we also have a lot of water. Lakes in the Black Hills,we have rivers, we have the large MissouriRiver where you can fish, enjoy water sports.It is so beautiful.  I H S does have a scholarship that I applied for in undergraduate, and Idid receive it in undergraduate and then once I applied for medical school, I also got theI H S scholarship. So they paid for four yearsof my medical school; I owe them four yearsof service. I have actually one month left on my obligation and I haven't looked forany new jobs or anything. I still enjoy whatI do, I still enjoy coming to work and atthis point I'm staying.
